22 Sundays...

We've been traveling everywhere lately and so the kids are getting more and more pictures with others. So for a change of pace I thought it would be special to start putting some of their Sunday photos with those that they visit. The first photo is with Uncle Nathan in their Twins gear that he gave them as a gift. How appropriate! The photos capturing their 22nd sunday home is a rare photo this year, it is proof that I in fact do exist!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. Stay warm and watch out for those nasty midwestern blizzards!

21 sundays home...we are HUGE Twins fans!

20 sundays

It's our 20th sunday home, and boy have we been enjoying all our fans from the Midwest! We love getting to be cuddled and talked to all day long. Sometimes we get a bit scared of all the fun, but please don't worry...we still love all of you! For those we haven't met, we can't wait. See you soon!

...until next sunday everyone!

19 sundays

...well we've been traveling fools and so we've missed a few too many sundays in a row! I guess closing up a house, preparing the yard for winter and packing twins for a extended stay in North Dakota proved to be a very busy schedule of events. But we survived it and had plenty of help along the way!

So here we are at our 19th sunday home. Truman and Aubrey are still such beautiful blessings to our family and are growing strong. They have their 4 month appointment tomorrow...FOUR months, that's right. Time really does go quickly when you measure it by the weeks of a newborn baby.

16 sundays

Here we are...we've survived 16 sundays and we just keep growing. I hope you enjoy our fun outfits for this sunday fun photo day!
Thank you Auntie Shannon for the awesome outfits! They really are "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" - it'obvious by the above photo that they really are best buddies and will gang up against us someday for sure!

As you can tell mister truman still isn't 100 percent, can't you just see it in his eyes, poor guy.
...and since mister truman wasn't feeling well I of course said he could watch the vikings game! Go Vikes!!!

15 sundays

mister truman
all smiles!

miss princess aubrey
still always serious!

and of course we just had to pose together in our twins gear
(thank you uncle nathan for the cool outfits!)

I guess for their joint photo shoot the princess decided to finally show off her gums, but her brother looks pretty rough - this is the sunday he wasn't feeling very good. We found out after two days of doctors visits that he had pneumonia. Poor fella, can't you just see the hurt in his eyes. Makes my heart break.

happy sunday everyone! Stay healthy.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! 14th sunday

miss princess aubrey...
mister truman

Happy Halloween everyone! Mom didn't allow us to go out trick or treating because she said it was too cold, but it seems we still get this stuff they call "candy" when we greet others at the door! So, we'll take it for this year...but you can bet we will be hitting the streets next year!

So far we've seen a lot of good ideas for our costumes next year, so be sure to check back. But for this year we again defaulted to mom's ideas. I guess that's what happens when she doesn't understand your language! Oh well. We've enjoyed the day and really "enjoyed" the doorbell ringing. Let's just say we've made this Halloween EXTRA unique because we like to sing when we hear the doorbell, so most times everyone else gets to hear our choir too! (Hey...you'd sing too if you heard our doorbell, it's disturbing!)

Hope you have enjoyed your Halloween like we have,

truman & aubrey

13 Sundays

13 sundays...

they were wearing matching outfits on this Sunday, but were not really wanting to have their sunday photo session. So I share with you a photo of mister truman and his best buddy "da blue bear" and miss princess aubrey being held by her daddy with her hoodie up. She is most content when she is with her dad...let's just say it is obvious she is ALREADY a true daddy's girl!

my life...52 weeks

While I am staring down the upcoming month I really just want to throw myself on the ground, kicking and screaming. You know, just like the 2 year old you see at Target with the embarrassed mom nearby. Yes, I want to throw a tantrum like a toddler. But since that seems to be frowned upon I suppose I won't...well that and because it won't change or help anything.

As I was driving tonight on the familiar roads of the town we now call home, I was thrust into many different emotions. I wanted to get lost, I want to be driving the car and having to look for nearby stores as signals of where to turn. Because if I had to do that, if I was getting lost on these "oh so familiar" roads it would mean that we had a year together. Yes, we have lived that year together. We have made tons of memories, including a couple new additions to our family. No I don't want to go back and "redo" this past year, I just want another year, and another year and another year. But, before we can have that next year we must go through this year. And overall it's okay. I know that I hate it, but I know that I love this timeframe a year from now.

Someone wise once told me, you have to endure the worst to enjoy the best. So I'll do just that. I'll endure this again knowing that in one year it will again be the best.

...your 2 months already, yikes!

Here is a picture book of life with twins...we have made it 2 months and I think we'll continue to survive! Enjoy the storybook of our lives with twins...

Thanks to Kim we have our salt and pepper onesies (or as I say their "Salt-n-Pepa" onesies), they really do show just how different these minis are. Yet as it appears here they aren't all that different after all, they both have a good set of lungs!

"I have no idea how kiddos, but somehow you got stuck with me!"

Yes, they are exhausted...and so am I.

9th sunday

Hope everyone is enjoying watching Truman and Aubrey grow up via weekly photos! I know that by the time we get home they will look nothing like any of these photos either, so I'm just glad I get to share their changes in some fashion. Now onto the 9th sunday...

Truman has many expressions, so I had to put in the photo below...he was having a nice chat with me in Mikey's office. Telling on daddy I'm sure!

Eighth Sunday

We just keep counting up the sundays, and this sunday we put them in matching outfits! Yep, it rarely happens but today it did. They have their American Flag "born in 2010" onesies on. The only other time they have had the exact same outfit on is with their duckie sleepers. So this really is a rare thing around here.

princess aubrey...

8th sunday
yes, she is always our serious child...only her daddy can seem to crack a smile from her!

...Truman seems to be a getting wiser with age
(or at least he makes it look like he is a thinker!)

As the sundays progress the mini's are more and more alert and each of them are showing us how different each child is. They have their own unique personalities and it is a blast getting to know each of them. We love them so much, and also find that they are good entertainment!

tata for now,

It's our 7th Sunday

The mini's have been home now for 7 sundays. It seems that every sunday they are here they take over another square foot of the house. I guess raising babies takes a lot of things, especially when you double it!

I have put the photo from the first sunday home on here so you can compare from when they were just four days old to now nearly two months old. Enjoy!
