32 sundays

February was a busy month for this family, so we got a little behind on blog posts. But here we are, into a new month and marking the calendar for 32 sundays of the mini's home.

We were traveling fools and the mini's were champs through the whole trip and really didn't mind being in their seats for that long. I think they've al
ready realized what army life consists of...lots of traveling! It's been bitter sweet to be home as it's tough not to be close to all our family and friends at home, yet the additional space is comforting. I could tell that mister truman recognized being home, the first day we were here he smiled the entire day! We have had a lot of interesting things happen in the past month, but I won't bore you with all the details because you probably won't find it interesting at all. So, below are the photos from the sundays. Unfortunately I misplaced (LOST) a memory card from our camera so we don't have photos from the 29th and 30th sunday. It's a bummer I know. But enjoy the ones we do have!

28 sundays...

Superbowl sunday, our last sunday in north dakota...we've had a blast here even with it being so cold. I know we didn't get to see everyone due to many blizzards and the lovely flu, but we will be returning and the mini's are already excited. But until then I will try to maintain the sunday posts!

26 Sundays

In the past two weeks we've been busy accomplishing new milestones.

Miss aubrey lynn decided to roll over from back to tummy for the first time on her daddy's birthday. Happy Birthday Daddy!

She also has a degree in bottle holding, but mister truman quickly jumped on that and showed her up by being able to find his mouth when the bottle falls out. Let the competition begin!

It seems though that mister truman could care less on rolling over, no interest at all. (They both do tummy to back and have for a while, but I don't really consider it rolling over)

Next on the agenda, sitting up alone and getting teeth.

Truman's thoughts: "seriously, I need a raise...this weekly photo shoot is exhausting and I obviously have a fan club so start negotiating with my agent."

24 Sundays

Welcome to the 24th Sunday! Hard to believe that just 24 weeks ago these little mini's couldn't even hold up their head, or smile without gas as the prompt. And here we are, the beginning of January enjoying all the new things they are figuring out. We were able to sneak to the cities to visit all our friends there and the Archers were so happy to see us that we got family photos with them...I put those at the end as bonus materials! Enjoy.

Happy New Year everyone! This household loves 2011...and for those of you that know us best you understand why. Below are the sunday photos with two bonus photos showing how the mini's celebrated the new year. They just look so excited right!?!

Enjoy and we hope that everyone has a great 2011!!! May this year bring as many exciting times as we will have.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Just chillaxin', waiting for the blizzard to pass us by!

Yep, the blizzard called for a day in our pajamas.
Why not when all major roads were closed for three solid days.

until next sunday!

22 Sundays...

We've been traveling everywhere lately and so the kids are getting more and more pictures with others. So for a change of pace I thought it would be special to start putting some of their Sunday photos with those that they visit. The first photo is with Uncle Nathan in their Twins gear that he gave them as a gift. How appropriate! The photos capturing their 22nd sunday home is a rare photo this year, it is proof that I in fact do exist!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. Stay warm and watch out for those nasty midwestern blizzards!

21 sundays home...we are HUGE Twins fans!

20 sundays

It's our 20th sunday home, and boy have we been enjoying all our fans from the Midwest! We love getting to be cuddled and talked to all day long. Sometimes we get a bit scared of all the fun, but please don't worry...we still love all of you! For those we haven't met, we can't wait. See you soon!

19 sundays

...well we've been traveling fools and so we've missed a few too many sundays in a row! I guess closing up a house, preparing the yard for winter and packing twins for a extended stay in North Dakota proved to be a very busy schedule of events. But we survived it and had plenty of help along the way!

So here we are at our 19th sunday home. Truman and Aubrey are still such beautiful blessings to our family and are growing strong. They have their 4 month appointment tomorrow...FOUR months, that's right. Time really does go quickly when you measure it by the weeks of a newborn baby.

17th sunday home

miss princess aubrey...notice the mirror by her!?! All smile when she can stare at herself.

...until the next sunday! I hope everyone has been enjoying the winters and we have loved meeting everyone.

16 sundays

Here we are...we've survived 16 sundays and we just keep growing. I hope you enjoy our fun outfits for this sunday fun photo day!
Thank you Auntie Shannon for the awesome outfits! They really are "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" - it'obvious by the above photo that they really are best buddies and will gang up against us someday for sure!
mister truman (aka "thing 1")

miss princess aubrey (aka "thing two)

As you can tell mister truman still isn't 100 percent, can't you just see it in his eyes, poor guy.
...and since mister truman wasn't feeling well I of course said he could watch the vikings game! Go Vikes!!!

first video chat with dad!!!

we love you daddy.

we'll try to behave for the next 50 wednesdays....

15 sundays

mister truman
all smiles!

miss princess aubrey
still always serious!

and of course we just had to pose together in our twins gear
(thank you uncle nathan for the cool outfits!)

I guess for their joint photo shoot the princess decided to finally show off her gums, but her brother looks pretty rough - this is the sunday he wasn't feeling very good. We found out after two days of doctors visits that he had pneumonia. Poor fella, can't you just see the hurt in his eyes. Makes my heart break.

happy sunday everyone! Stay healthy.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! 14th sunday

miss princess aubrey...
mister truman

Happy Halloween everyone! Mom didn't allow us to go out trick or treating because she said it was too cold, but it seems we still get this stuff they call "candy" when we greet others at the door! So, we'll take it for this year...but you can bet we will be hitting the streets next year!

So far we've seen a lot of good ideas for our costumes next year, so be sure to check back. But for this year we again defaulted to mom's ideas. I guess that's what happens when she doesn't understand your language! Oh well. We've enjoyed the day and really "enjoyed" the doorbell ringing. Let's just say we've made this Halloween EXTRA unique because we like to sing when we hear the doorbell, so most times everyone else gets to hear our choir too! (Hey...you'd sing too if you heard our doorbell, it's disturbing!)

Hope you have enjoyed your Halloween like we have,

truman & aubrey

13 Sundays

13 sundays...

they were wearing matching outfits on this Sunday, but were not really wanting to have their sunday photo session. So I share with you a photo of mister truman and his best buddy "da blue bear" and miss princess aubrey being held by her daddy with her hoodie up. She is most content when she is with her dad...let's just say it is obvious she is ALREADY a true daddy's girl!
